This is a pretty loose interpretation of technology but, whenever I get to Invercargill in New Zealand, I like to visit Hayes Hardware shop, keeper of Burt Munro's [ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burt_Munro ] Indian's, along with lots of other automotive goodies from the past. The way a hardware shop should be. Perhaps "Shop" is the new "Street"? All with the M246 / Summicron 50 combo...

Thanks for posting these - it looks a fascinating place and I now want to visit (long way to go though)

Oh, the photos are lovely too, and I am left wanting more. Particularly love the light playing on the rear shot of the streamliner (and wonder what the "paddles" are in the cockpit.

If anyone has missed the film, it really is a brilliant watch

Thanks, James. Hayes is a wonderful shop, with old bikes and bits and pieces throughout. The Hayes family have been keen racers and tinkerers for generations. My grandmother went to school with Burt. Have a look on Youtube for the documentary "Burt Munro: Offerings to the God of Speed".
