Advertisement Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Hi NERICSSON, Take a look here Leica Owners’ Area. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lucerne Posted October 19, 2015 Share #2 Posted October 19, 2015 I logged in to the Leica owners area and sent a query to the administrator which included the serial number and date of purchase. Got a positive result.
Goonz Posted October 19, 2015 Share #3 Posted October 19, 2015 As I am trying to register my Q on the "Leica Owners’ Area" I can not find the Q in the list of products. Anyone manage to register the Q? It is under Compact Camera
spylaw4 Posted October 20, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 20, 2015 It is under Compact Camera Which does, to me at least, seem a bit strange. It's certainly smaller than an M but not compact by any means.
lucerne Posted October 20, 2015 Share #5 Posted October 20, 2015 Which does, to me at least, seem a bit strange. It's certainly smaller than an M but not compact by any means. Strange but True. Dealers put it under "compacts" as well. It's not an M.
pop Posted October 21, 2015 Share #6 Posted October 21, 2015 It's not a system camera as it has no parts which can be exchanged. That makes it a compact camera, at least in Leica's terms. "Compact" does not imply "small".
thighslapper Posted October 21, 2015 Share #7 Posted October 21, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Strange but True. Dealers put it under "compacts" as well. It's not an M. My Dealer has just put the Leica SL in their compact camera category as well ....... ...... they clearly haven't seen the size of it yet ......... I think that's pushing the definition into the realms of fantasy .....
