I use that camera a lot, with various types of film stock. The clutch always does its job. I thought that was the whole beauty of the knob rewind - a bit slower, but more robust and dependable? The traditional rewind knob does go out of adjustment quickly in the scheme of things, but that said most photographers can accommodate the inconvenience if nothing else needs servicing on the camera for twenty or thirty years. But the 'modern' rewind crank is fragile but fast, I have needed to replace three (an easy job) over the course of the years on M6 etc. just by them taking a slight knock.
