rafikiphoto Posted September 2, 2015 Share #1 Â Posted September 2, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an old Canon FD lens which I intend to use with my M cameras. It's in excellent condition in all respects except that the white numerals and scale marks are yellowed. Is there any way to whiten them up short of a repaint? Peter Kilmister Posted September 2, 2015 Share #5  Posted September 2, 2015 Take it into the bath, shower, or sauna with you, then steam clean it before throwing it into the dustbin. Or leave it as it is, which would be my preferred option.
