LucDV Posted August 27, 2015 Share #1 Â Posted August 27, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm considering to buy me a Leica T as a second camera for street photography. I owe already a Nikon D800 with several nikon and sigma full frame lenses. Is there a possibility mounting these lenses on the Leica T? Â If so, are there limitations? Advertisement Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Hi LucDV, Take a look here nikon full frame lenses on Leica T. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
TheHobbit Posted August 27, 2015 Share #2  Posted August 27, 2015 As far as I know, you can mount Nikon lens on the T. I believe there is a Nikon to T adapter, both for F and G lens. The alternate is to get a Nikon to M adapter and use it with the Leica M to T adapter. You lose autofocus and aperture data.
LucDV Posted August 27, 2015 Author Share #3 Â Posted August 27, 2015 Thanks for fb! I googled it but didn't find a Nikon adapter for the Leica T. If i use 2 adapters as suggested, will there be an impact on focusing caused by the increased sickness? Is the lose of aperture data limited to the metadata and will the leica be able to send the chosen aperture to the lens? The lose of autofocus is no real problem. I suppose the FR function will continue to work as with the nikon body?
jip Posted August 27, 2015 Share #4  Posted August 27, 2015 The body won't be able to adjust the Lens it's aperture, so only posible with lenses where the aperture is set on the lens, not electronically via the Nikon body.
MichaelU Posted August 27, 2015 Share #5 Â Posted August 27, 2015 You can check the Novoflex website http://www.novoflex.com for an T to Nikon adapter. I use the Novoflex T to R adapter along with a Makro-Elmarit R 60. It works well.
