albertknappmd Posted September 17, 2015 Share #25 Posted September 17, 2015 I spoke to David Farkas and the problem is isolated to the S (Typ 006). I don't recall the issue arising with the S2 and David said that the S (Typ 007) does not have the problem... I ma reassured but wish that Leica would fix this bug for the 006! Albert
menos I M6 Posted September 18, 2015 Share #26 Posted September 18, 2015 Use the fastest, reasonably sized CF cards you can afford! The fastest card your computer benefits from, the most reasonable size so you are not constantly swapping cards but still have reasonably small cards (cost, safety, start up and format time in camera). With the S2 and Nikon D800E I use 16GB and 32GB CF cards. 32GB cards are the largest I should ever use with raw file sizes of 20-70MB. Card swapping with those sizes is reasonably easy.
