flavio Posted May 23, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted May 23, 2007 Hi John, Velvia slides, shot with M4 with Leicameter and 50 Summicron, then scanned via Nikon, translated in TIFF (@ lab), and worked to B&W through Aperture by myself. Thank you!

stuny Posted May 23, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 23, 2007 Flavio - #1 is just short of superb, but you have no control over the bothersome overhead wires. #2 is delightful with its light, tones, depth and textures.
flavio Posted May 24, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted May 24, 2007 Hi Andy and Stuart, thanks for you messages and advises! Andy, I now use Kodak Elite 100 asa slide. As soon as I'll come back home, I'll post the original colour. Lately I have some problem to find the film I would like to use and, in very few words, I cannot choose so much. For instance, I would love try different Kodak slides but... Though using a pro developing lab, the guys there tell me that I am one of the (7-8?) slidemen they are still working. But some are back to analog world! There is still hope. Stuart, I tried to use the wires in order to follow the buildings lines and being useful to the picture in a geometrical form, I may have done in the wrong way, of course, but that was my thought since I was not able to cut them off. We could try to understand/suggest a different way to use them. Why not? :-) Many thanks again for your messages.
