John Palamaro Posted August 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently made the trip from mirrored SLR's (i.e. Nikons) to mirrorless, Sony A7 series, and could not resist the Leica Q. Not sure why but was enamored with all of the great reviews, the Leica red emblem, and the fixed 28mm lens. Thinking perhaps I could simplify my life with multiple camera bodies, lens, and all of the other paraphernalia one collects over the years and reduce my photography to a single camera. Hmmm, I also believe in Santa Claus and the 'tooth fairy'. Well, starting to get used to this very expensive, forgive me, point and shoot camera, and loving every minute of it. I found the Wi-Fi setup a bit trickier than the Sonys, but works well, once you know the secret. (Googled it and of course some good soul set up a nice YouTube video LOL). I'm not sure I've achieved my goal of a single camera and learning to live with a 28mm lens, but going to give it a try. And, admittedly, the quality and substantial feel to the Q make it worth every single penny of its exorbitant price. LOL
