Â My first Leica was a Summicron-R 1:2/90. I bought it modified to Nikon F-mount in Sydney and used it quite well on my D7000. Bought another Summicron, the 35 V2 and was a happy camper. Â Now I have an M8 to use for the digital shooting and I use my dad's R-E with the remodded 35mm. The 90 though is standing on my desk, not being used at all because I do not have the parts to unmodify it back to R mount. Â So my question is, how to get parts to unmod it? Â - R mount - 2 cams - filler plates - dustscreen - what I might forget... Â Leica Wetzlar can do it, but it will cost me a couple of hundred euro... wildlightphoto Posted August 3, 2015 Share #3 Â Posted August 3, 2015 A used 14198 macro adapter made originally for the 60mm Macro-Elmarit-R has the flange and 2 cams. Â The third cam may or may not be present, and you'll want it to use the lens on the R-E; if the 14198 does have the 3rd cam it's likely you'll see an inaccurate aperture readout in the viewfinder with R cameras that have this (does the R-E? Â I don't remember and I'm guessing not). Â The light baffle will be difficult to come by without going through Leica. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

alan.y Posted August 10, 2015 Share #5  Posted August 10, 2015 I was in a similar situation having to convert a R35/1.4 from Nikon back to R mount. The lens did come with the original components, but I wasn't sure what two of the pieces are for. They may be the "fillers" that the OP refers to.  They're those thin metal pieces with holes in them.
