John McMaster Posted August 1, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 1, 2015 Well the S2 one just plugs in and works.......have you got it pushed in far enough, as they say? I think mine is red and goes in the upper slot with the tethering cables for the other socket. john
Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted August 1, 2015 Share #3 Posted August 1, 2015 John the bottom slot is blue and the cable is blue..........it feels like it is all the way in but when I press the button nothing happens. Is it meant to have a battery in it?

Manolo Laguillo Posted August 2, 2015 Share #11 Posted August 2, 2015 I it is like mine. It goes into the lower plug, the blue one. In my case it works as it should. Yours must be defective... You can try the 2 sec delay (under 'driving mode') instead, if the scene allows it.

Thats what I was using before I bought the remote.............I will continue to go that way until I can get back to KL and get either my camera or cable replaced Thanks for the feedback
Scott997 Posted August 3, 2015 Share #13 Posted August 3, 2015 Yes, these frequently malfunction and need to be replaced. Very disappointing.
