I have 25mm~135mm covered for my M9, I am looking to extend to 16mm. preferably a single lens to cover 16-35mm more or less.

WATE is a choice but it is expensive, and I found I'm more and more lazy to change lens. So a second camera with good 16-35mm range is preferred.

???

I say just get the new 15mm Heliar that is supposed to be amazing. I mean do you really need 16-24? Just seems like a cheaper, more streamlined option then a new system. There's also the 21mm Skopar and Nokton. If you are primarily a architecture/landscape guy then I understand, but if that were the case you probably want to invest in the WATE over all those longer lenses.

Have you used the 15mm Helliar on M?

I have an M9-P which I use 12mm CV II, 15mm CV II, 18mm Leica SEM, 21mm and 24mm Elmarit Leica lenses

The only one I am not a fan of is the 15mm CV II due to the magenta casts, I dont like it converted to B&W on the M9 either, but really like it on the MM

I will probably pick up a 15mm III and sell the II
