Mark Pope Posted July 18, 2015 Share #6 Posted July 18, 2015 My goodness, that brings back memories of commuting last year. The feeling of being hemmed in by the tunnel walls and all those people is very well caught. The smells and the heat of summer commuting came flooding back! A miller Posted July 19, 2015 Share #7 Posted July 19, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) wonderful, Harold. I was there that day, too (two Wednesday's ago), and slogged through the crowds on my way from a short trip to Canary to Heathrow, where I departed to Israel for one day and no night on my way back home to NYC. Your shot captured the madness precisely and with very effective composition. You should submit this to the news mediums and stock photo agency. Perhaps my fav from you ever Well done! Purely for reportage purposes in order to give non-Brits a tiny bit more context of the madness of that the transit strike caused, I am attaching a photo that I took with my iPad (I didn't take a camera on this trip) at the Oxford Circus station. Your glorious photo makes me kick myself even harder for not having my camera with me for that momentous occasion. Love your shot, btw... Welcome, dear visitor!
