While I was taking photos, the screen turned to black out of sudden, and it shut down completely. I tried to move the power switch to turn it back on but it was an unsuccessful try until I took out the battery and restarted it again. Do you know what's going on? Thanks in advance. Ensure the battery 'clicks' with a little spring-loaded back pressure on insertion into the camera body. Swap the battery for a spare and/or clean the battery contacts.
