Olsen Posted July 22, 2015 Share #24 Posted July 22, 2015 I have had mine for a month now. Just excellent! The best Leica - ever! It is the 3. Leica I have bought myself. (- My father gave me his M3 when I went to London to attend LSE in the early 70'. - I traded it in for 'a few pints'. Yes, I know. It was an unforgivable crime. - I never dared tell my father). I bought a 2. hand beautiflul black MP with a 35 cron in the late 90' feel sure that 'digital would just go away'. But I was among the first customers of the M8 and suffered the Red Line. I sold it to finance my M9 - with corrotion problems. I went for Leica's up-grade-offer and now have a M P (240). Looking back: Despite their faults; some of the best pictures I have 'ever' taken were with my M8 and M9 (I have a Canon 1Ds III alongside). So, my expectations are high. So far it is very much living up to it. Despite that this summer here in Norway has been cold, rainy and with a gray, dull and flat light.
