fotografr Posted July 31, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 31, 2006 Nice butt shot. Do you have any showing his face?
john79456 Posted July 31, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted July 31, 2006 nice one, Brent, the trouble with showing his face is that you cant see the painting!
fotografr Posted July 31, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2006 Understood, but the interest is more in his face that in his painting. Just my opinion. Might have been good to get something from the side so we could see both his face and his work. Photos of people's backsides usually don't work (obvious exceptions being the recent posts of DD and Albert, linked below). http://www.leica-camera-user.com/people/2274-butt-watching-beach.html http://www.leica-camera-user.com/people/2255-minnesota-mermaid.html

Regards, John. Agreed. It would be pretty boring around here if that weren't the case. Maybe some others will add their opinions on your image. wda Posted July 31, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 31, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) John, my first reaction was that the picture shows what a little mini can do. As to the portrait, it is a very busy scene and I suspect that rather complicates matters. Certainly it would have been worth making a series of shots from different angles, even including the inevitable spectators. David
