stuny Posted May 20, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 20, 2007 Andy - Wonderful light, textue, details and color. I wonder, though, what the same scene would look like with deep DOF.

andybarton Posted May 20, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted May 20, 2007 I wonder, though, what the same scene would look like with deep DOF. Thanks for the comments, folks, but in this instance, I am happy with the DOF as I took it. I like the fact that the distant breakwaters are out of focus, and the interest is concentrated on the first row. There's a shot on my website taken a couple of year's ago that also shows an East Coast breakwater, that demonstrates the familiar look of these structures. The East coast is so different from the West, it's hard to believe they are only a few hours away by car. This also demonstrates the DMR vs Kodachrome/Nikon V, but that's another story... stunsworth Posted May 20, 2007 Share #7 Posted May 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice set Andy. Are these from a recent trip? I may try to get up there next weekend - mind you, a bank holiday might not be the best time to go.
