esophoria Posted July 20, 2015 Author Share #21 Posted July 20, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) The GGS for D-Lux 6 does not work for me. While the external dimensions are fine, the black band on the top and bottom obscure part of the screen. I bought the same one and initially had issues with the black band covering some of the photo information. Careful moving of the shield gives nearly perfect fitting results. Charo Posted July 21, 2015 Share #23 Posted July 21, 2015 I have the official leica screen film on mine, i don't like it at all, it has a matt texture and degrades the quality by quite abit, i will be removing it once i receive my oleophobic clear one from eBay which also comes with an eve protector film. the link is here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111712645145?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Yesterday I received my Q and immediatly I put on the Leica screen film: it's simply horrible! likealot Posted July 21, 2015 Share #24 Posted July 21, 2015 Guys, stop paying high prices for a piece of plastic. Alll you need is a screen protector for an iPhone, PSP, DS and so on and just cut it to size. It's simple and really cheap. Just because you paid £3k for the camera doesnt mean that you have to pay the same in accessories for it.

viramati Posted July 22, 2015 Share #26 Posted July 22, 2015 I have to agree that the Leica one is fine and also about the cheapest thing they sell (in fact there are 2 in the pack).

It works but if you compare it to a high quality screen film, the difference is night and day. i guess its not important to some people but i wouldn't put a low quality cheaply made screen film on my phone so why would i settle for anything less on my camera.
