If Leica made a Noct version it would cost at least 8x as much- which is stupid money. The look of the CV images is very close to the Noctilux look- and as a user of both I find 1.2-1.4 to be more usable apertures than f1. Wide open at 1.2 the CV lens has the noctilux look but with a fraction more DOF- which is usually a good thing. F1.2 is shallow enough! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
