Advertisement Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Hi sblitz, Take a look here Flashdancers / Houston St Gas Station . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted June 7, 2015 Share #2 Posted June 7, 2015 Steve, A great picture with the Flashdance sign on the car place on the right corner and the tantalizing billboard on the left that seems to have some meeting. Paul
A miller Posted June 7, 2015 Share #3 Posted June 7, 2015 very nicely exposed, Steve. I like it, but I have to say that I like the other one you posted recently of the back of the head and the cool hat next to the telephone booth much better. I do like that Flashdancers sign, though, and have been having fun trying to find the right frame to capture it. I have a certain image in my head but just haven't come across it yet on the street....
allamande Posted June 8, 2015 Share #4 Posted June 8, 2015 I like the strong diagonal lines and the way the two ads anchor the story (with the arm in the back lending further support). I guess if you had a third element on the lower left, say a close figure, this would totally pop. But you work with what you have and this is certainly a dynamic frame with interest. stuny Posted June 8, 2015 Share #5 Posted June 8, 2015 I like it, too. I'm amused they calls strip joints "gentlemen's clubs."
