Interesting to read 'Description of works' for the D Lux 5 'in-house' sensor clean completed FOC as 'Goodwill'. And no charge for the Leica C repair … post free return for both cameras. Leica C zoom problem required replacement printed circuit board plus a replacement rear panel. Good to know that Leica Mayfair can repair compact cameras … no need to send to Germany. Why would he mention it? I made my remark because I used to have Panasonic as a client and have seen the service dept. with all sorts of stuff (including some PanaLeica's) awaiting repair. But it's not just 'PanaLeica' compact cameras that Mayfair repair … all X series too and probably 'T'.
