overexposed Posted May 31, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, my name is mirko, originally i am from germany but i live in beijing for already 5 years and i love it. i started my photography journey with canon... but 3 years ago, i got infected by the medium format fever by a friend and got a C645, first for film photography and later on i aquired a phase one digital back, a system that i definetly do not plan to part with. yet i wanted something smaller and lighter and i was lusting for a leica for a few months already and while originally i wanted a monochrom, the corrosion issue scared me away, then leica announced the 246 and i thought i was in heaven. since i was about to go to HK soon, i contacted the leica dealers there and they told me they dont know when they will receive the 246. and since i didnt want to miss the chance to get a leica without VAT, i decided to get a M-P first. so almost 2 weeks ago i got a M-P, 35 summicron, 18mm 3.8, evf and handgrip. so i have been using the system now for about 1,5 weeks and i really like it but i have to learn alot for sure but i am looking forward to it. so i hope to get alot of feedback and questions that will pop up and to also give my feedback here to you, in the end, thats why we are here right? here is one small snap from a subway ride in shenzhen/china 35mm cron, cheers mirko Welcome, dear visitor!
