Sharookh, Adam & I met Dan last week in Harlem and had the pleasure of speaking with him for quite a while. he is a true hero, having saved the life of a woman police officer. In the process he injured his leg and will forever need to use a cane. But he keeps on helping the people in his neighborhood. Welcome, dear visitor! Brenton C Posted June 2, 2015 Share #11 Posted June 2, 2015 Taking Iduna's comment as a starting point, part of the story appears to be he is no longer a patrolling "GA"--perhaps because of his injury, but his clothing shows his continuing identification, at least in spirit, with the organization. It calls to mind the many images of injured vets who wear bits and pieces of their old uniform.
