SVX90 Posted May 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 10, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I apologies in advance if this has been asked before. I recently bought a Leica T and obviously it came with the 1.1 Firmware. I went to the Leica website in order to update the Firmware. http://us.leica-camera.com/Service-Support/Support/Downloads?category=112770&subcategory=112771&type=108942&language=93871 I downloaded the file and clicked on it to extract it. I have a Mac and my mack cannot do so. Please help. Thanks Welcome, dear visitor! gbealnz Posted May 10, 2015 Share #2 Posted May 10, 2015 Hello. you don't really need to open it. At the same location you went to for the download is a PDF with clear instructions. Follow them and it will work. I too am on a Mac and had no problem with the firmware download, and update. Make sure the battery is fully charged though. If you get stuck, come back, but I think you'll find it's quite straightforward. Gary
jaapv Posted May 10, 2015 Share #3 Posted May 10, 2015 it is correct that you should not open or attempt to extract the file. In general, though, you can circumvent this "unknown developer" message by going to preferences and changing the security settings, either for one single time or in general, provided you have the administrator password of your computer.
