there is a special filter adapter ring for the 24mm summilux, costing euro 85 at a local hamburg dealer.

LEICA FILTERHALTER E72

für Leica Summilux-M 1,4/24mm ASPH.

Nr. 14479

i have only the 77mm versions of my seldom-used filters (IR, polarizing etc) and use various adapter rings with smaller lens diameters.    not so elegant, but works for me.

greetings from hamburg

Hi Erick,

The ring you want for the Noctilux is a 60-72mm Step Up or a 60-77mm Step Up.  The link you posted is a bayonet (B60) 60 and will not fit the Noctilux.  There are many rings available to fit, most are aluminum, they are thin and weigh very little, occasionally they will bind and be difficult to remove.  The more expensive rings are brass made by Heliopan. They are thicker, heavier and bind less than aluminum.

The 24SX takes Series 7 filters in the hood, the adapter mentioned by rickp13 will allow 72mm filters to fit the lens.  The adapter has holes so viewfinder blockage is minimal.

Actually I dont find the way to use all my 77mm filters with the Noctilux 0.95 and the Summilux 24mm ? I cannot find 2 rings for that 60->77 and 24summilux?->77

if 82mm filters are better no problem I can sell all my 77mm filters and buy 82 but I want to have only one pol filter for all

77mm for the 24mm/f1.4: Leica adapter - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/586200-REG/Leica_14_479_E72_Filter_Adapter_f.html

plus

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1026570-REG/sensei_surp_7277_pro_72_77mm_brass_step_up.html    this is the new Sensei Brass Rings, good quality with  Knurled Sides.

82mm - you shouldn't have to step up to 82mm, in the Leica world the 21/1,4 would require 82mm along with several Leica S lenses.  Neither the 24/1.4 or Noctilux require 82mm.

The 72mm solution would be my preference, requiring one ring for each lens, while the 77mm solution requires two adapters for the 24/1.4.
