Pecole Posted May 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) This bridge on the mouth of the Mira river, in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Alentejo, Portugal, does not harm too much the picturesque landscape. I remember very well that when it was built in 1977-78, we feared it could spoil the site, but also rejoiced it should shorten the trip from our holiday house to Vila Nova de Milfontes from more than 35 to less than 8 km. And finally, the result is certainly satisfactory, as I could verify last week when visiting again the site. Thanks, architects ! Welcome, dear visitor!
