MaDeVa Posted April 18, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would like to try the Visoflex on my M-E and M7. I'm following and auction on ebay for a Leica Visoflex II M. Does anyone know if it works on the M-E and the M7? Thanks Massimo
Advertisement Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hi MaDeVa, Take a look here Leica Visoflex II M on M-E / M7. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted April 19, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2015 Of course it does, albeit in a limited way, as you will need the "chimney" viewfinder, or a Visoflex III prism, as the camera is too high for the standard one. Avoid such problems and gain a quick return mirror by getting a Visoflex III which is designed for higher cameras.
tobey bilek Posted April 19, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 19, 2015 II with the proper prism will fit up to a M6 except for the M5. M6TTL and later are taller and the standard prism will not clear the camera top. As above, if you fit the prism from the III it will work.
MaDeVa Posted April 19, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted April 19, 2015 Thanks for the feedbacks, I will look for a III. Cheers, Massimo
sblutter Posted April 27, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 27, 2015 Search for calibrating the Viso III on this site - its easy but the learning curve was long I've done and am very happy (The problem comes from they were calibrated for the curviture of film, not a flat sensor) Good luck - and there are lots of bits to gather up (Ebay)
