I have had an email this morning saying that my Premium Membership Subscription has been cancelled.

It gives no information as to what the next course of action should be.

What do we do now, men?

I don't think this Premium Membership rejigging is being well handled.

I hope it doesn't lead to the loss of some LUF sponsoring members.

Personally I feel slightly inconvenienced (by the cancellation of my

Premium Membership Subscription) but I will play along and see

what transpires.

I don't mean to nag but.......

On 13th PayPal informed me that my LUF Premium Membership had been cancelled, as expected.

(I had only just renewed it, bad timing obviously, but who knew?)...... but...but there was no refund

showing for the $US38.00 sub. which I would have expected to arrive with the cancellation notification.

So I checked again today (15th our date) and still no refund. I do want to renew my Premium Membership

subscription and get rid of those pesky ads, quite apart from a natural desire to support the Forum,

however I can't do so until that darned refund turns up. I see other members are showing up as

Sponsoring....I hope I have not been forgotten.     :)

P.S.  Really love the adorable range of new SMILEYS.....

I renewed my membership yesterday but am still awaiting the email and the new theme. I had to pay 40 Euros to renew my membership, even though I haven't had a refund of any old membership yet.

I'm sure it will all be along shortly.

Do you need to place a code somewhere to make it all work? I received a long string code in the PayPal email receipt.

The email is directly from the forum, not PayPal. You follow the link in the email, and then enter the code from the email. That gives you a 40€ credit. If you then select the link to renew membership there's an option to apply the 40€ credit leaving a net payment of zero.

I have received the email, pasted the code and am now in credit re the Subscriptions.

Unfortunately, I still have all the ads.

On the old forum I could choose a premium theme that removed them, but that's not here yet.

I am interested to know how others who have paid the subs have removed the adverts.

Thanks

Andy

Hi,

sorry to all Premium members - my communication should have been better.

Took me almost two days
- to cancel the old Paypal subscriptions (which would have sucked your money without prolonging the membership)
- to paint and send you the individual gift vouchers for the new forum

There are some more advantages for premium members but I need some more days to clean everything up.
Later I'll try to convince you again why it is or was a good decision to become a premium member ;)

I don't think I did it right. I had a €30 credit but it still took €40 from PayPal.

Can this be corrected please, despite my ineptitude? ;)

Just sent you back the difference.

Please burn the voucher I sent you yesterday ;)

Andreas
