M8. 2 Gb or 1 Gb cards, Sandisk, Hama, Voigtlander, regradless I get the same thing. I am shooting DNg. When I put in the card, for example the 2GB the counter says 145 images left. Which is about right. Then I take a picture and it says 144. I crimp it to see how it turned out (hard without my reading glasses .)) and now the counter says 330 (or 485 or whatever it chooses for the card)! I take a picture and it goes back to the right number. Turn the camera off, turn it back on - 329 pictures. Is anyone else seeing this effect since the update to 1,1.02? I didnt have it before - to be honest it is nowhere as bad as the problems I had before the update but it is weird and slightly annoying. Lee Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Shootist Posted May 16, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 16, 2007 I only see that when using Jpg only. Never with DNG only. My Lexar Pro 133x 2GB cards all read 190 when using DNG only. If you are seeing 145 with a 2GB card then you are shooting DNG+JPG. So it would seem the camera is getting confused with the JPG. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
cbretteville Posted May 16, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 16, 2007 Lee, Have you set "DNG" again in the [set] menu after the upgrade? I remember being fooled for a bit after I did the upgrade.
