Doc Henry Posted March 27, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 27, 2015 Adam, the lady (with her Canon) looks at you with surprise and a little badly ... or she asks what camera you have? she knows that it is a Leica ? Nice shot Best Henry
F.Juul Posted March 27, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 27, 2015 Her arms are aching and she wishes she had a light little Leica Nice one.
stuny Posted March 27, 2015 Share #4 Posted March 27, 2015 Very nice. I suppose her workout routine involves carrying that monster.
pauledell Posted March 27, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 27, 2015 Adam, A great shot. It looks like the woman is lamenting over the fact that she is carrying the huge brute while you are using the light convenient gem. Paul
A miller Posted March 27, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted March 27, 2015 very funny, all. As I remember, I was standing on the steps of Federal Hall looking down at her peep furiously. I composed and focused and waited for her to turn her peeping face toward me. Then ----> click! Gotcha! I then looked at my camera, then all around, then made my way; she was oblivious. A miller Posted April 3, 2015 Author Share #13 Posted April 3, 2015 Many thanks, Marc and Erl. I often have a knee-jerk reaction to approach people with gear like this and strike up a conversation. But i always suppress that feeling on the basis that i would feel like a dog walking up to another dog on the street and sniffing his/her butt/bum. Erl - Wall Street is indeed bustling at around 8am. She is aiming at Broad street, which separates the NYSE (the building on the upper left) and the old JPMorgan building. Sometimes on a bustling street like this i just stand there and let my peripheral vsion take over and soak it in. I know i look quite odd but i cant help it - it is so cool! Hope you are having/had a nice birthday, and that the tennis was fun.
