Robinyuill Posted February 19, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 19, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi there. Just got myself an M and loving it. Just a question of using longer lenses on it with a VF or live view. If I used a Telyt 280 with OUBIO will this fit? Any advise on the subject will be gratefully accepted. Regards Robin. Advertisement Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Hi Robinyuill, Take a look here M240 and Telyt lenses.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ayewing Posted February 19, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 19, 2015 Yes you can but it is not a simple matter of mounting the Telyt OUBIO combination directly on the M240. The OUBIO is a Leica screw to M mount converter and also has a tripod mount which is handy. The Telyts were designed to be used with the Visoflex so you really need a 41mm spacer between the camera lens mount and the OUBIO. Novoflex make a LEM/VIS adapter which does the job. The newer version LEM/VIS II is a set of extension rings that together make up the 41mm spacer. They are quite expensive. You might find something similar on eBay at less cost. bocaburger Posted February 20, 2015 Share #3 Posted February 20, 2015 AFAIK any Visoflex lens with an M bayonet rear flange (including those requiring the OUBIO), or rangefinder-lens head used with short M-flanged Visoflex focus helical, can be used on the M240 via 14167 R-to-V(M) adapter plus current Leica 14642 R-to-M adapter.
