glacierparkmagazine Posted February 18, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sent my M9 to Leica NJ for a CLA (there was nothing wrong with the sensor that I could see, other than dust) and they're replacing the sensor under warranty. The problem is they're back ordered and won't likely arrive from Germany until early March, the rep said. That's all I know... As an aside, anyone who is interested in the longevity of the camera and shutter, mine is pushing 90,000 clicks.
Advertisement Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Hi glacierparkmagazine, Take a look here M9 sensor FYI. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
glacierparkmagazine Posted March 11, 2015 Author Share #2 Posted March 11, 2015 The camera came back today completely overhauled. They not only replaced the sensor, they fixed the back wheel, adjusted the rangefinder to spot-on focus and even replaced the bottom plate, which over the years had a slight bend in it and had some play. Thanks Leica New Jersey! They didn't charge me a dime.

Leica Fanatic Posted March 11, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 11, 2015 Leica may have taken a 'hook' to the chin of late but you won't get customer service like that from another manufacturer.
