Why bother. No one seems to notice its anything special anyway. In the time I've had it only one person mentioned it - a geeky guy who likes and notices cameras. You can hide the logo, use a black logo (which is just slightly less noticeable) or put tape on it; doesn't really matter.  If you are among Leica folks, the black dot will make you stand out of the crowd - I suspect, this is what a lot of people are really after.   Besides, the average thieve will go for something that's easy to sell.
