Less than the skin, I’m stumbling more over the glassy eyes as a consequence of the lens used, this stands in the way of feeling contact with her personality or mood of the moment.

Can be several properties. Contrast or just sharpness, as we know from lenses which are experienced as ‘clinical’, like the 75 summicron apo. Could be pp too, the clarity button. And as we all know, contrast can enhance the perception of sharpness too.

Thanks. Zooming in, she might be wearing contacts as well - so literally glassy-eyed.

This reggae artist in Venice Beach saw my camera and asked me to take his picture. I was happy to oblige. I placed him in front of that colorful mural, since I didn't think his sweater was colorful enough 😉 M10-R, 50mm APO.
