wattsy Posted January 4, 2015 Share #21 Â Posted January 4, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Unfortunately Wilkinson's are now showing out of stock on both the Silver and Black bodies. Â I don't think you did yourself any favours publicising the deals on the forum. You sound like a patient person. If you wait, I'm sure other good deals will crop up. daveh48 Posted January 20, 2015 Author Share #27  Posted January 20, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi,  Thought I’d update this thread and thank all those who contributed.  With thanks to Len at R.G.Lewis in London who sourced me an M(240) at pre price rise cost I’ve finally become a Leica owner and collected it from them on Saturday - another thanks to Barry who made handing over all that money as painless as possible.  Early days yet and getting used to using the RF and getting to grips with zone focusing but things are starting to become easier and the few shots I’ve taken most have been focused on what I was aiming for.  I'm using a Summarit 35mm at the moment and have my eye on a used 50mm Summicron or Voigtlander but a bit undecided which to go with.  Once again thanks to all.  Dave. You're going to have a blast.  Thanks, I'm sure I will  Forgot to mention that when I phoned R.G.Lewis on the previous Saturday they had stock but contacting again on the Tuesday they had sold out - three in one day which was unheard of.  Dave. Â Dave. Â Perhaps the price rise (in the middle of a marketing campaign!) concentrated minds? Â I myself had the last pre-increase black M240 from the Leica store in Mayfair on the first day they opened after their Xmas and New Year break.
