Chito Posted December 26, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 26, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, I've had the M240 for about 10 months and never had a problem with it.. I updated it to xx.15 when it came out (i've neglected the xx.17). Lately I've had this weird lockup.. everything turns off, framelines, lcd.. and each time I press the shutter the little red light comes on and flickers like it's writiing. Battery pull doesn't fix it.. The only thing to do is let it rest for maybe half an hour.. Then it starts working again. I don't lose any images, it just works again. I live in Panama, but the lockups have happened in air conditioned rooms. One time it locked up when I turned live view on, and another time when I turned the wheel to timer mode. I was looking through the lockup threads but I haven't seen a lockup similar to mine. Does anybody know what might be happening? I have a slight suspicion that it might be the battery, but I really have no clue.
