andybarton Posted December 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know of a European stockist for these inserts? ARTISAN & ARTIST* IN2-1000 RED EXTRA PADDING INSERT NEW I bought an A&A half case from a dealer in Holland a few years ago, but I can't remember where. Pop flash in the US have them, but if there's somewhere in the EU, that would be easier customs wise It's to go into a new bag that I know Father Christmas is bringing... Because I've just ordered it myself

larsv Posted December 6, 2014 Share #4 Posted December 6, 2014 Was it this dealer? Merken - Foto Henny Hoogeveen Or this one: http://www.nivo-schweitzer.nl/tassen+%26amp%3B+koffers/artisan+%26amp%3B+artist/artisan+%26amp%3B+artist Not sure that they sell the inserts as separate items. I have good experiences with both of them.

andybarton Posted December 6, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted December 6, 2014 I don't use Amazon if there is an alternative. And there is nearly always an alternative.

R6M6 Posted December 6, 2014 Share #10 Posted December 6, 2014 Andy I have very good experiences with monochrom - very fast and reliable. Bought an insert for my Fjälraven Totebag and several times Filters. Best regards Ulrich
spylaw4 Posted December 8, 2014 Share #11 Posted December 8, 2014 A&A are handled in UK by Minox GB, whose service can regrettably be a tad lethargic, possibly due to supply limitations and shipping from Japan.
philipus Posted December 9, 2014 Share #12 Posted December 9, 2014 It's to go into a new bag that I know Father Christmas is bringing... Because I've just ordered it myself That's a very nice bag Andy.
andybarton Posted December 9, 2014 Author Share #13 Posted December 9, 2014 Thanks I have the same bag in waxed cotton with a leather flap, but have worn out the cotton body where it sits against the hip. The good thing is that it doesn't scream "camera bag" too loudly. I expect the leather to patinate quite quickly.
wattsy Posted December 9, 2014 Share #14 Posted December 9, 2014 I have that bag. It has a very comfortable strap but it's not much cop as a camera bag (a hadley small insert just about fits ok) but I do like it as a general bag ("manbag" or whatever they are called nowadays). I tend to use it without an insert and put a single M body in a neoprene case in it. The problem I find with having the insert in place is that it stiffens the shape of the bag and makes it a bit bulgy if you also put a book or two in too. Sandokan Posted December 11, 2014 Share #15 Posted December 11, 2014 Sorry Andy - on that model on the web site, it does look like a Murse. I am sure a man of your maturity and masculinity will fix that issue. I agree with Ian - a neoprene case around the camera and the lenses wrapped up if often better than an insert.
