I lke all "The light beam reflections on the faces are courtesy of the new Freedom Tower". You are lucky to have these reflections of light ,may be impossible with a digital camera. Nice capture Best Henry
stuny Posted November 30, 2014 Share #3 Posted November 30, 2014 Excellent. That one block gets so crowded that it's a frustrating place to be.

A miller Posted November 30, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted November 30, 2014 many thanks, Henry, Stuart and George. Stuart - as we know, one man's/woman's frustration is another man's/woman's delight. On a pure sunny morning this alley is a nirvana for "people watching" photography.

robert_parker Posted December 1, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 1, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Strong, strong, strong, set of images, the 28 and the backlighting working together to add to the impact of the compositions.

carl_valiquet Posted December 2, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 2, 2014 I love this series. The use of the light reflecting from the building provides a surreal ambiance to the scene. I do think you are onto something. Keep on mining. C*
A miller Posted December 2, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted December 2, 2014 Thanks, Carl. Hopefully, one day I can share this fun with some forumites, or am I the only sicko who enjoys this type of shooting?
xalo Posted December 7, 2014 Share #11 Posted December 7, 2014 Hi Adam, I am astonished that no one has told you yet how all your pics are ruined by the flare this hopelessly outdated lens is producing! You are almost getting me to hunt for one, my Ultron 28 really is too big... More seriously, I enjoy looking at this set. It reminds me (as quite a few of our pics) of an album title, Ultra moderne solitude (Alain Souchon). I find pic 9 quite strong, where the people become a marching skyline, and generally seem to learn about of NY's people through your images. Should I ever manage to get to your city, I'll let you know. Not sure I'd be in the same place with a 28mm, though Cheers, Alexander

Lars - very perceptive on Alexander's magic post. I don't know whether I should run out and purchase a lottery ticket, or increase my life insurance Alexander - It would be a great pleasure to meet up if you are ever in town. Please do keep me in mind.
