Trouble is that he does open himself for criticism as he reveals how he dupes people into getting their photos taken

 

Well, I don´t really call it "duping", not the way he describes it. From the start, he´s quite open with having and using a camera, he does get the consent to photograph (the first) couple and then he talks with them, but takes no photos.

 

Then he approaches a second couple the same way, but does photograph them. The first couple then reminds him he didn´t take any of them, and returns to them. Now, the mood is that of THEY asking HIM, not the other way around.

 

But he did ask, he did get a consent, and he did give them a chance to back out (by simply not calling out for him when he goes away; I don´t know Anders personally, but I assume there must be such instances as well). It is a mild form of coaxing, but not duping, really!? To me, the term "duping" someone implies lying or misleading them about your intentions, and Anders really doesn´t do that.
