Guest stnami Posted May 11, 2007 Share #23 Posted May 11, 2007 It's a pity that Leica have reduced the forum to a single letter of the alphabet. I bet it is Rob's insistence of calling Leica, Minolta that led to this.........................or was it that the moderators were assigned a letter each.......... and four failed in their duty of care!!!? square_one Posted May 11, 2007 Share #24 Posted May 11, 2007 It's a pity that Leica have reduced the forum to a single letter of the alphabet. Yeah. I rubbed my eyes at first ... Is that a lower case i to fool bad eyes? Is that the number 1? Is that a ower-case l? Is that a capital L in some new, top-secret web-font? Thinking on it, I like it, alot. It is low profile, unsnobbish, humble and is it's own secret, salt-of-the-earth, semi google-proof web code! The mysterious letter/numeral l puts the right face on a really cool, very useful and internationally-friendly forum for those who love and/or use the Leica UR to the M8 and all the POOTR-type stuff inbetween. Very good seamless work Andreas. Look forward to more good stuff, now that your muscles can' flex'. Bruce

robert_parker Posted May 11, 2007 Share #26 Posted May 11, 2007 Well done Andreas I think the for sale forum is a good idea - I'd much rather sell items that I've had hand stolen for me and that I've looked after to people I know.

nemeng Posted May 11, 2007 Share #29 Posted May 11, 2007 Good work guys - it appears the transition went smoothly. I'll have to check later this morning if the dozens of links I have to topics on the old forum map over to the new forum with only a domain name change (fingers X'ed they do!). LUF Admin Posted May 11, 2007 Author Share #30 Posted May 11, 2007 Good work guys - it appears the transition went smoothly. I'll have to check later this morning if the dozens of links I have to topics on the old forum map over to the new forum with only a domain name change (fingers X'ed they do!). Just change http://www.leica-camera-user.com/ to http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum (with the /leica-forum annex). The direct forwarding of the old links to the exact new location will stay for some months but after that... Please let me know if I can support you!
