aljaszcar Posted October 26, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I like really like cloudy days for BW and went out this morning with my M8 set to dng+jpegbw. The two photos below are compared. Direct .jpegbw and .dng color converted, both using same plug in in Silver EFX "023 Wet Rocks" and CS5 shadows/highlights to lightened the shadows. The first one is the jpegbw and the second is the dngcolorconverted. I like the dng photo better. the jpeg appears to have halos(if that's what you call them) around the poles and wires and the dng doesn't and also appears more subtle. Opinions anyone? pauledell Posted October 27, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 27, 2014 Jazz, A fine example of the two processes. I like the results of the second picture (dng) the most. Paul
