What follows here is a latest series of Paris pictures. With the help of Photoshop I transformed this trip to a nice remembering story-telling essay. Hope you enjoy. By the way it was a very good decision to bring this small camera, perfect for easy picturing, not big and heavy, and knowing I will always receive top pictures. It's not only the photographer, it's also the tool.

La Défense, younger district at the border of Paris.

Arc de Triomphe, one of the most visited places in Paris. This sujet is also preferred of many to be pictured. This asian guy tried with his phone to catch the right moment.

View from our Hotel in the Sorbonne-University quarter, just before the sun disappeared. Front light under good control of the sensor and lens. Most hotel rooms don't have a balcony, we were lucky to have it.

Notre Dame, that famous church which catched fire a few months ago. From this perspective under the bridge one doesn't see the renovating part on the side. Last sun rays reaching this nice place.

La Tour d'Eiffel, the most pictured sujet in Paris. Under harsh front light. Very difficult situation for any camera. Blown out sky was recovered thanks to the DNG-converting possibilities plus some Photoshop support helped to transform this picture to a nice souvenir of this tower.

I don't know what give this place of the Metro station the name "Chateau rouge". I call it little Africa. A place where you meet almost only Africans and humans with darker skin. Very busy, very colorful - I was so astonished to see such a place in Paris. I liked it, and I was one of the only white people there.

And here comes one of my all-time favorites: View down from the Montparnasse-Tower, around 200m high, you also pay a fee of 20€ to enter. But it was worth it. What a view on the roof, where you have glass around to protect with small openings for the cameras to have a free sight for the lens. We came twice, in the last minutes of light and next morning in full sunlight. This 48h-Ticket costs 25€. But look your self.

High contrast situation, again DNG-converting and Photoshop helped out to recover. Very nice little camera, unobtrusive and so capable. Here a view on the Seine - River

Last but not least a souvenir of my wife, before we left Paris. Around 1pm. We will miss Paris.

Thank you for all this nice Tunisia pictures. They show a nice colorful country to live under difficult circumstances and they show how capable this small camera is in good hands.

It's a pleasure 😀

Very nice picture you have here, Daniel! Looks like you're enjoying your X so much. I have sold my X for a Q two years ago, but still come to visit this forum from time to time, to see images coming from the X. Yes, I miss the X, I should have not sell it.

I do agree with you; it was worth all the Euros you spent to get to this point of view. Now, the Montparnasse tower is on my "must to visit" list!
