Good view of the rear of this car, which in my opinion was one of its best angles, even though it seems slightly under-exposed and a little too warm to my eyes.

Stuart, Paul, Tom,

it's an Impala from the '60s, but certainly not a '60. '60 Chevrolets had the radical rear wings / horizontal fins, intoduced in '59, that looked like a bird iflying towards the observer when viewed from the rear……….those years were the height of the GM fin craze, which mercifully went away as abruptly as it started shortly thereafter. The car in the photo has no fins.

What we have here is more of a '63 or '64, I'd say.

Henry, tookaphotoof, Adam, Stuart, Tom, Paul, Ben, John, Frank, and friends who hit the thumbs up,

Thank you so much for your comments and input. I appreciate the feedback very much.

I see this car every week (when I'm up in Orange), and the guy's house is painted the same color. The car reminds me of a boat sailing on calm waters. It really is grand! I think if it had fins, it might have been too much but I really love it the way it is.

I am getting back into film and scanning my output so I have much to re-learn in this regard. Any flaws you see in this image could most likely be a result of my not handling the process correctly. I am hoping to improve.

As a side note, Orange is a great place for seeing these vintage cars. Last week, I was walking along the main drag and I saw this cruiser (I had to act fast to get this image):

It was so much fun to see this gorgeous blue glide through....

Stuart, you have to tell me what kind of car it is.

This is also with my M6 and on Portra 160NC (I have several rolls of this expired film....). Henry, I think cold storage really helps preserve the integrity of the film.
