MarkP Posted October 2, 2014 Share #61 Posted October 2, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well mine arrived today. Very elegant device and easy to use. The wide EV range is fantastic. Looking forward to using it, and comparing it to my little Sekonic, over the weekend.

jmr237 Posted October 3, 2014 Author Share #62 Posted October 3, 2014 I got my scans back from my first roll using the Lumu and am very happy with the results. It's easy to use and the exposures are spot on. The picture below doesn't have any artistic merit, but it shows how the Lumu (or an incident meter in general) easily meters a scene with tones that might fool a reflective meter. Brenton C Posted October 6, 2014 Share #63 Posted October 6, 2014 Just push the up or down arrows on its side to find the aperture you want. Pete Oh, oh, here's another pesky thing about that cursed 308-- it's biased to favor left handed metering, given the action buttons ate all on the right. Eureka! Now that I type that out loud, problem solved: I'll meter left, while holding my camera right!
