stuny Posted September 17, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted September 17, 2014 Lovely. The colors suggest moth, but it is a butterfly.
pauledell Posted September 17, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted September 17, 2014 Tom, Â A great picture with excellent composition, colors and sharpness. And all these years, I thought that was a moth. Â Paul
Tom Barry Posted September 17, 2014 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 17, 2014 Thanks, guys. Most people, including me, think it's a moth. I learned about it's true identity only in the recent past.
Iduna Posted September 17, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted September 17, 2014 Tom, Â lovely. The color makes one think of a moth first, but I learned that the shape and construction of the wings is a distincitve mark. A butterfly can fold up its wings whereas a moth keeps them in a spread position. Your picture is showing a nice action as is admirably sharp.
