Panasonic smartphone with leica prime lens and 20mp 1 inch sensor

well just 2 days ago i wrote a post about the new sony QX1....

just today i saw that tomorrow in photokina panasonic will present a android smarphone with a real prime (28mm equivalent) 1 inch sensor /20mp

 

less complicated then QX1 modules ...but i preffer the APS-C sensor ....but who know...

what i like is that its kept flat...not tick like some crazy frankestein i saw from samsung )))

Now that is an interesting development...

It rather eclipses Sony's weird effort.

bit big for the pocket -- is there a lens cap? pretty interesting though. look forward to seeing it in person.

Phones are getting bigger starting to hit man bag size......leica's partner is panasonic so a leica version is not too far away........

Compared to Sony’s QX modules it feels like a real camera with everything you have come to expect from one of the better compact models. I cannot vouch for the image quality just yet but it sure looks nice. (Alas, it runs Android and I am more of an iOS man myself.)
