jlancasterd Posted May 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) M8, CV 28 Ultron This car belongs to an acquaintance of mine - it's a replica SS100 Jaguar built from a kit using 1960s (or '70s) Jaguar mechanicals. Image developed in Lightroom.

stuny Posted May 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 5, 2007 John - Based on what you've captured, this may be a very good "replicar". Very nice framing and detail;s.

The photo below is the same car a year ago - taken with my R8+DMR and 28-70 Vario-Elmar-R. The registration number is, I believe, from the 'donor' car, and dates from the early 1970s. elansprint72 Posted May 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 6, 2007 John, Looks like a very good copy, some of them are exact replicas, on the outside. Some car-folks get a bit sniffy about this sort of thing, but as long as it's done well and not passed off as the real deal, then why not? Nice pair of clear, well-framed shots.
