DigitalHeMan Posted September 16, 2014 Share #41  Posted September 16, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) photoscala | Fotografie im Fokus First informations of the new products. German only.  Best regards René   Maybe a little bit disappointing for M followers, but at least introducing compact cameras that will hopefully sell in volume will create more cash flow for R&D..... Advertisement Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Hi DigitalHeMan, Take a look here Photokina - All Very Quiet. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
DigitalHeMan Posted September 16, 2014 Share #42 Â Posted September 16, 2014 Ah, I see now the list on that website doesn't include all the new stuff that has been released, so I withdraw my comment
Richardgb Posted September 16, 2014 Share #43 Â Posted September 16, 2014 Leica's website at 09:34 BST (10:34 in Germany) shows confusing info about the X cameras. Â The '35mm' lens is (of course?), in fact the full-frame field-of-view equivalent. The actual focal length, from the pictures, is 24/2.8 Elmarit or 23/1.7 Summilux. The top plate, in front of the (additional) EVF, shows 'X2'. Am I alone in asking: What's all the fuss about?
