rsa212 Posted August 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) What is this mark? Can't seem to remove it with a blower. Is this a cracked sensor? hsittel Posted August 7, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 7, 2014 Try to remove it carefully with a soft tab, while holding the body with the bayonet down.
jaapv Posted August 7, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 7, 2014 Looks like a piece of lint. If it sticks you need a wet clean. It sure does not look like a crack or scratch.
rsa212 Posted August 8, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted August 8, 2014 Thank you for the reply. I'm relieved. Don't want to go through another sensor replacement which I experienced from my M9.
k-hawinkler Posted August 8, 2014 Share #6 Posted August 8, 2014 I agree with Jaap and also have removed stuff like that with the Pentax lollipop, the one Leica is using in the old video.
rsa212 Posted August 8, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted August 8, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was able to remove the mark. I don't have a wet cleaning kit as I only clean my sensor by blower. I found a lens pen in the house I got as a freebie. I used it to dab that portion of the sensor with the mark and it moved. Used a rocket blower and now it's gone. I am so relieved. Thank you to all those who replied.
