krooj Posted August 3, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 3, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just noticed a hot pixel develop on my M240. The pixel is full red from ISO 200 through 800. It's not a huge deal, since Lightroom takes care of mapping it out, but kinda disappointing. I understand there's really not much fault on Leica's part with this, and it happens to pretty well all digital cameras. So, I guess my questions are: 1) do these issues ever resolve themselves (magic)? and if not, 2) will Leica mapping out the stuck pixel remove an entire column? Additionally, is one stuck pixel usually an indication of more to come? Is it cause to push Leica to replace the sensor?

Erik Gunst Lund Posted August 8, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 8, 2014 They will map out single pixels to a certain extent... not full rows.
