A great comparison between what it was and what it is now. Probably many old-timers are brokenhearted over the changes.

Yes, we are upset at many of the changes. My son worked in the kitchen at the Spoke when he was in high school. We lived only blocks away in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. The 'hood is still there, but vastly impacted by growth. Our family - and our son's - moved out to the suburbs many years ago. where it is still relatively restful to be.
